Configuring and Enhancing your site's Information Architecture can as simple as a few clicks

liveSTORYBOARD provides full control over your web site's information architecture.

Managing Information Architecture with liveSTORYBOARD CMS

  1. The Project Navigation panel helps you select items from your site hierarchy and modify them through the Architect tab. liveSTORYBOARD CMS uses a user interface similar to the File System that most users are already familiar with and quickly get used to. As you move through the site hierarchy, the Project Navigation displays important relevant information, such as assigned content and components, locked (by other users) files and more.

  2. Through the Architect tab, you can add, move and delete selected site hierarchy items.

  3. The following items can be added to the site hierarchy: new folders, new pages, new topics and new content. The available content types can either be the default liveSTORYBOARD CMS provides, or custom client content types based on custom schemas.

  4. To make the Information Architecture process simple and accessible to users of any level of technical skill, liveSTORYBOARD CMS's controls work based on the user selection and provide only the relevant choices. The system keeps track of the details for you to help you avoid mistakes. For example, deleting an index page will not be allowed unless a different index page is selected first.
