2004/11/09: New Feature - "Token Replacement"

Ever get tired of typing in the full name of your company or some other phrase you use constantly? Token replacement to the rescue! Let's say you wanted simplify entering your address - e.g. "123 Main Street, San Francisco, CA 12345", create a token in your project's filter.properties file with a token / value pair like this: addr=123 Main Street, San Francisco, CA 12345. The next time you need to type in the address, just type in [token]addr[token] in the liveSTORYBOARD CMS editor or any screen under the Configure tab. When your site is generated and promoted, the full text will replace the token. We love it -- not only does it save quite a bit of time, but it helps reuse content down to the phrase or even word level. Other usage scenarios: product names, your tag line, your full company name, client names, those dreadfully long and unfriendly URL's to your office map, anything you can think of... Enjoy!

2004/11/05: New Feature - "Relationships"

Check it out under Configure > Relationships. In a nutshell, it let's you connect your site resources, so that you can easily create features like "Related Resources", "See also", "Customers that liked X also liked Y", etc. For example, an author bio content piece could be related to all the articles by this author; then in your template you could choose to display all the related content/pages for this content piece in a callout box, a side-bar, etc.
